On completion of installation the system should be properly flushed and filled in accordance with BS 7593 (Treatment of Water in Domestic Hot Water Central Heating Systems). For maximum efficiency, radiators should be fixed at not less than 100mm (4”) from finished floor level. Manual valve pipe positioning: allow 35mm to centre pipe. TRV valve: allow 45mm to centre pipe. During installation, leave protective packaging on the radiator. Remove lug protectors and pre-cut tapping connection only when ready to fit.
